Eagle Point Provincial Park
Eagle Point Provincial Park is a protected 19.6 km2 (1,962 ha) area located near the Highway 22 bridge, east of Drayton Valley. It was established to protect the natural landscape and habitats that live within it, while providing an environment for people who enjoy low-impact recreational activity in a natural landscape.
Here you can enjoy a number of activities, including watersports like canoeing, kayking and fishing, or land activities such as cross-country skiing, hiking, camping and more. The wildlife watching is spectacular – as the Park is home to a number of species of birds, moose, deer, elk, black bears, cougars and more.
Camping is plentiful within the Park, visit Willey West Campground for more information on location, site reservations and regulations.
Managed by the Eagle-Point Blue Rapids Parks Council, the Park serves to bridge the gap between the natural wildlife of the area and the residents and visitors who enjoy the picturesque landscape of the Cowboy Trail.
